What it costs.
Scanning starts at $99 for up to 250 photos. The price depends only on how many photographs you have — there's no hourly rate, no setup fee and no minimum beyond the first tier. I count your photos and confirm the exact price with you before I start any work.

I count your photos and confirm the exact price first. Payment is by cash or Zelle once you've agreed that figure, and then I start work.
The question everybody asks
How many photos do I actually have?
Almost nobody knows, and you genuinely don't need to before you get in touch. But if you'd like a rough idea of where you'll land, these are the numbers I work from:
- A drugstore envelope — 24 to 36 photos
- A standard photo album — 200 to 400 photos
- A shoebox — 300 to 500 photos
- A banker's box — 1,500 to 2,000 photos
So most people with "a box in the closet" land in the $99 to $179 range. If you've inherited a whole household's worth, you're probably looking at the per-photo rate.
Either way I count them properly first and tell you the exact figure before anything starts.
Worked examples
What real jobs cost.
A shoebox from the closet
About 400 photos. I collect them from your house in Cornville and bring them back when they're done.
$179 for the scanning, $15 for the two journeys. $194 in total.
Two albums and a handful of repairs
About 600 photos, dropped off with me in Cottonwood yourself, with five badly creased pictures restored.
$329 for the scanning, plus $3 a photo for five straightforward repairs. $344 in total.
Clearing out a parent's house
Around 1,500 photos, collected and returned, with a second USB drive so your brother gets a copy too.
$435 for the scanning at 29¢ each, $15 for the journeys, $20 for the extra drive. $470 in total.
Included at every price
What's always in the price.
- Every photo scanned at full quality, by hand, in Cottonwood.
- A walnut USB drive in a wooden keepsake box — packed with natural moss and a small bunch of dried flowers, tied with jute twine, with a thank-you card inside.
- All your original photographs back, in the order they arrived.
- Ordinary photo files that open on any computer, phone or tablet — nothing to install, no subscription, no account.
- The price agreed before I start. If your collection is bigger than we thought, I call you first.
